Plump and meaty raisins that taste like raisins should, aren’t tough or rubbery and then smothered in brown, sugary sludge. What a novel idea! These raisins are yummy, potent flavor bombs! The plump meatiness I describe allows the raisin to meld with the chocolate coating because the skin of the dried fruit is rendered unnoticeable. I love the tartness of the black current outer dusting. The whole is a unique take on sweet and sour candies, where you have to make it passed the sour outside to get to the sweet inside. Very clever.
