Round gift box divided into four sections, with Chicchi di Caffe (coffee bean shaped and flavoured solid chocolate), Cinnamon Gianduja Almonds (roasted almonds covered in soft hazelnut/chocolate mix), Glazed Scorched Almonds (crunchy roasted almonds with a hint of coffee and herbs, glazed in white chocolate) and Scorched Hazelnuts (roasted hazelnuts, covered with milk and white chocolate). Perfect at Christmas or for sharing round the dinner table!
Chantal's Tasting Notes The glazed almonds are known as galets in Provence, after the smooth river pebbles of the Durance and Verdon. The subtle use of coffee and herbs in this recipe makes them one of my favourites.
