Supporting local in lockdown

As the new year gets off to a less than ideal start with another national lockdown, we’re pleased to say that we are still here for all your chocolate needs…and with the lockdown looking to head into February, we’re glad we can be here to help you through! We’re happy to say that we can still provide chocolate deliveries to your door – by ordering via our website for next day delivery or if you’re in London and you can’t wait that long, you can order on Deliveroo or get same-day delivery by calling 020 7352 5857 (postcode restrictions apply). We’re also very fortunate to be able to offer click and collect through our website to one of our four London stores. Our team will be on hand to give you a warm welcome (as well as a warm hot chocolate!) at our Belgravia, Marylebone, Chelsea and St John’s Wood stores.

In these locations we’re lucky to be surrounded by some great small businesses who are also offering click and collect or takeaway services. We’d like to give them a special mention in the hopes that on your way to visit us you may also drop in on them. We hope to see you in-store very soon!

Marylebone

The Ginger Pig

Over the road from Rococo, The Ginger Pig began with Tim Wilson and his interest in farming rare and native breeds along with traditional butchery. The foundations of the business are built on good animal husbandry and welfare, supporting small UK producers, as well as sustainability. What started as a way of putting unsold meat to good use has now become a popular part of the business, their sausage rolls and roast dinner lunch boxes have customers queuing round the corner at lunchtime – and they’re certainly a favourite for Rococo staff!

As an essential business, The Ginger Pig is open during lockdown.

Daunt Books

Around the corner from Rococo on the High Street is Daunt Books, housed in a beautiful Edwardian bookshop with wood panelling and large, bright skylights. This creates the perfect atmosphere to spend time browsing and finding hidden gems among the rows upon rows of books (in normal times at least). Although specialising in travel books, Daunt Books has a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction and staff are knowledgeable and helpful. In addition Daunt Books set up Daunt Books Publishing in 2010 to publish works from authors around the world, finding talented new authors to publish as well as reissuing new editions of lost classics.

Daunt Books in Marylebone is open for click and collect.

La Fromagerie

Our opposite neighbour on Moxon Street in Marylebone – La Fromagerie was founded by Patricia Michelson who discovered her love of cheese while skiing in Meribel. From there she brought home a wheel of Beaufort Chalet d’Alpage, which is one of the many cheeses that can be bought from their shop today. She originally sold from her garden, then began trading at Camden Market before opening her three award-winning shops in London. Not only does La Fromagerie sell an outstanding selection of cheese they also offer deli and charcuterie, wine and supplies for the pantry as well as a café where you can get takeaway dishes which change daily.

In Marylebone, the café at La Fromagerie is open for takeaway and the shop is offering click and collect.

They work with the finest growers who send flowers straight to their Belgravia boutique meaning they receive flowers of the highest quality and freshness. Although Neill Strain are known for their large floral masterpieces, they also offer hand-tied bespoke bouquets, with delicious scents, outstanding colours and fabulous textures.
