Criollo Cacao: Our Signature collection
Criollo, known as the "King of Cacao," is one of the rarest and most coveted cacao varieties in the world.
It is believed to be the "original" cacao varietal, dating back to the Mayas and the Aztecs, and it was at risk of extinction for many years.
Criollo is delicate, mostly cultivated in Venezuela, and it makes up just 0.01% of the global cacao production.

This hand-ribboned box contains 3 of each type of Criollo truffles (Total of 9 Chocolates).
Ocumare Criollo (38% Milk)
We use a mix of Ocumare 38% Milk Chocolate and Ocumare 100% Dark Chocolate to bring the natural notes of caramel and walnuts.
Canoabo Criollo (62% Dark)
Floral notes and flavours of pine nuts, honey. This ganache has a delicate flavour that reveals itself as the chocolate melts on the tongue, and that lingers on the palate.
Chuao Criollo (75% Dark)
Flavours of lightly roasted hazelnuts are encasing the chocolaty notes of this chocolate. A light sweet passion fruit acidity is present in the background and delivers a medium after taste with a clean finish.
